Sacramento, CA – The Sacramento Kings on March 31 welcomed the Golden State Warriors to Golden 1 Center as they hosted the fifth annual Bollywood Night. Throughout the night, the Kings celebrated traditional Indian culture with music, special performances, and other activities in the arena.
Sacramento, CA – The Sacramento Kings on March 31 welcomed the Golden State Warriors to Golden 1 Center as they hosted the fifth annual Bollywood Night. Throughout the night, the Kings celebrated traditional Indian culture with music, special performances, and other activities in the arena.

The Golden 1 Center was decorated with multi-colored banners and Kings Entertainment wore traditional kurtas and saris. All guests received “Bollywood Night” rally towels in various bright colors. Special performances included a Bollywood themed dance performed by the Sacramento Kings Dancers, DIYA Dance Academy performing during a timeout, and Ankhiley Gabroo taking over the court during halftime for a Bhangra dance routine. In various sections of the concourse, henna artists were offering free all-natural henna body art for fans.
The Sacramento Kings are dedicated to creating an environment of inclusion and recognizing the diversity of the Sacramento region. Throughout the season, the team hosts several diversity celebrations including Latino Heritage Night, Lunar New Year, as well as Black History Month.
