‘Gujjubhai Banya Dabangg’ Keeps Fans in Splits

PLACENTIA,CA - Around  700  fans  of  the  King  of  Gujarati  plays,  Siddarth  Randeria came out on Mar 22 to watch.”Gujjbhai Banya Dabangg,” his latest outing  in  the  series  “Gujjubhai”  held  at  the PYLUSD  Auditorium,here. In  2012 Randeria  started  the  ‘Gujjubhai’  series  with  ‘Lage  Raho  Gujjubhai.’
This  time  Randeria  plays  Jagdish  Pandya,

a  commoner  who  feels  the  pressure  of  his  family  and  feels  he  has  to  make  them  look  up  to him.Fate  has  put  an  opportunity  his way. A notorious  gangster,by  some  coincidence  dies  at  Pandya’s  house.  Pandya  seeks  this  opportunity to  make  his  family  and  the  entire  country   believe  that  he  fearlessly  killed  the  most  wanted  gangster.This  then  is  the  basis  of  the  laugh - a - minute   Gujarati  play.
Randeria  is  well  known  for  his  Gujarati  comedy for  which  he  has  won  multiple  awards  as  a  writer,  director  and  actor.  After  a  very  successful  run  all  over  India,‘Gujjubhai  Banya  Dabangg’  is  currently  on  a  tour  of the US,  with performances almost  every day until  Apr  26.
The  Los  Angeles  performance was  organized  by  Stage  Paint  Productions,  headed  by  Manoj  Kay  Tee  and  Anil  Shah  in  association  with  Babu  Patel  of  Tisha  Entertainment.
