jointly presided by Consul General Venkatesan Ashok and Jt Secretary, Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs T. K. Manoj Kumar. The other dignitaries present include Dr K J Srinivasa, Deputy CGI, Counsellor Community Affairs E/I Washington Shiv Ratan and Consul from CGI-SF Debabrata Chattopadhyay. The main organizing committee includes Inder Singh Ashok Madan, Dilip Butani, Kewal Kanda, Navin Gupta, Vasu Pawar and Abdul Ghani Sheikh. Manoj Kumar gave a detailed account of previous Pravasi Divas functions held at different cities around the world. He will be the liaison between the Los Angeles team and New Delhi. Ambassador Ashok gave details about the upcoming RPBD seminar and how the Consulate and the ongoing committee would be working together. This was followed by a long question-answer session in which both the Consul General and Manoj Kumar answered .Other volunteers present included Abdul Ghani Sheikh,Anil Mahajan, Ramesh Ramnani, K V Kumar, Amrit Bhandari,Raj Walia, P K Naik, Ashok Patnaik, Aparna Hande, Vijay Patil, Mike Raja, Pranav Desai, Anju Garg, Rani Kusto, Ramesh Bhatt, Siddharth Pathak, Yash Singh and Rajinder Dhunna.
