as President of the Artesia Chamber. “I really enjoyed my time as your President,” said Shah, “and I learned a lot. We had a very successful year, but we still have a long way to go.” Shah received several proclamations congratulating him for his service from the offices of Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe, Congresswoman Linda Sanchez, State Senator Tony Mendoza and Assemblywoman Cristina Garcia. Shah promised to remain active in the Chamber and to support its new President, ABC Adult School Principal Dr. PaoLing Guo.
“It’s a great honor to serve as the new President of the Artesia Chamber, and I am pleased to work with a wonderful team of men and women who take pride in our community,” said Guo. “We not only want to work with our business members, but also with our community groups, government agencies and residents.” Guo promised to actively promote local businesses through the Chamber’s website, social media, e-Blasts and other marketing publications. She is also planning to provide training to promote businesses through educational seminars, social and business mixers, networking events and workshops. She plans to support the City and community organizations such as Friends of the Artesia Library, Distinguished Young Women Scholarship Program, Public Safety Expos, Graduation Recognition Night, and the Artesia International Street Fair in October.
