treasure house of stories, artists and themes from Bengal to Hollywood. `Another Fairy Tale’ is our first production since the launch of Chatterjee Productions in 2018.”
The movie tells a tale of friendships, reunions and the search for a missing friend. It aims to combine elements of mystery, reality and of course, romance; Shot entirely in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, the audience was treated to an engaging trailer. The excellent visuals were shot by well-established photographer- Dmitry Popov who is known for his work with CNN, CBS, ABC and BBC. Other key talents include Cinematographer Brett Kerr, Braden Barty, the director and producer of `Far Away Eyes’ and `Flipping Vegas’ and Warren Eig, winner of the 32nd Annual Silver Telly award and segment editor for the 66th Annual Academy Awards. Tollywood actors Rupanjana Mitra and Anindyo Chatterjee spoke at the event and expressed that there is a need for such cultural collaborations;
The major roles in this film have been played by Anindya, Rahul, Gitashree, Debasmita, Rishi Kaushik, and debutante, Poly Chatterjee; cast and direction by Debapratim Dasgupta; Playback singing is by Jojo, Rupankar, Ananya, Samantak, Iman and Poly. The actors also took to the stage to express their enthusiasm for the film which is expected to be launched internationally later this year. Sharmistha introduced all the guests to the audience.
The evening began with a red ca rpet walk and interviews conducted by the event coordinator Bani Mukherjee followed by a Bollywood-style entertainment segment and Bengali delicacies.
