the Padma Shri award, the highest civilian award presented by the Govt of India for his work in education. Manu Shah, Rika Shah, Suru Manek, Dr. Nitin Shah, Mahesh Wadher and Dr. Jasvant Modi were recognized for being recipients of Jewels of Gujarat India 2019. They were lauded for providing selfless service to the community for many decades. A grand celebration of Harkishan Vasa’s 75 th birthday then followed.
The oldest married couple Arvind & Rama Joshi were recognized for being happily married for 65 years and for serving the community. Well known Bollywood musician Hanif Noormohamed’s and Rukshna Banu’s 32nd wedding anniversary was also celebrated.
