Inder Singh, Chairman GOPIO-Int’l, welcomed everyone and he and other speakers that included Dilip Butani, Kewal Kanda, Ashok Madan, Ashok Patnaik, Vasu Pawar, Malik Banda, Maqbool Qadri, and others, spoke about the leadership role of Dr. Srinivasa.On behalf of the Lions Club of Little India a special recognition plaque was presented to Dr. Srinivasa by Chairman Dilip Butani and President Amrit Bhandari.Dr. Srinivasa gave a speech charged with emotion and recalled many incidents of his interaction with the local Indian-American community.
